A Day of Miracles at Capernaum

In the Forenoon at the Synagogue

And they went to Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? are you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him. And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.... Mark 1:21-28

In the Afternoon at Peter's House

And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and they told him of her. And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered to them. ... Mark 1:29-31

An Evening of Miracles at Capernaum

When the evening came, they brought to him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his Word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the Prophet, saying, He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses. ... Matthew 8:16-17,

Preaching throughout Galilee after a night of Prayer

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. And when they had found him, they said to him, All men are looking for you. And he said to them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore I came forth. And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.... Mark 1:35-39

When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, See that you tell no man; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them. . Matthew 8:1-4

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the Word unto them.... Mark 2:1,2

Paralytic let down through the roof, Forgiven and Healed

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and Doctors of the Law sitting by, which came out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the Power of the Lord was present to heal them. And, Some men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. And when he saw their faith, he said to him, Man, your sins are forgiven. And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said to them, What reason you in your hearts? Whether is easier, to say, Your sins be forgiven; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that you may know that the Son of man has power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said to the sick of the palsy,) I say to you, Arise, and take up your couch, and go to your house. And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things today. Luke 5:17-26 .
