I.. I
need to know about important events in history like the
creation of
independence.
Dear H .... Independence began in Genesis chapter 3. When
an individual is no longer submitted to God they become
independent, free to do whatever they please whenever they
please and seek after their "Rights" to do so. This is
exactly what Satan did, so Jesus said they become a "child
of the Devil"
It feels Strong, Macho, Gusto, Exhilarating for awhile or
"for a season" but the Price tag is too high. The Catholic
Catechism has it right "We were created to Know, Love and
SERVE God and spend all Eternity with Him in Heaven " .....
hope this helps

Was
incest
considered a sin in the time of Adam, Eve, Noah etc.? My
Class asked this question and I was unable to answer, even
my own satisfaction.
Dear Stan, ... No, such marriages
as the children of Adam and Eve, Abraham and his half-sister
and Nahor and Milcah were excusable before the Law of Moses
was given 1446 years later. Incest became a death penalty
sin in Leviticus chapter 18. (
see www.bible.studies.htm/613.htm
) In the case of Lot's
daughters, the offspring ( Ammonites and Moabites ) were
excluded from marrying Israelites for the two reasons found
in Deut 23.4 ... because they did not greet the Israelites
on their return and they hired Balaam to curse
Israel.......hope this helps,

What do you think is meant in
Isaiah
59:1-8.
Dear Kathy, ... This shows that God
cannot save or hear us because sin is the chief hindrance
that causes Him to turn His face away. This seperation is
called spiritual death
I am so grateful for your
website. Previously I was searching for knowledge and
understanding about John 14 and you helped me immensly! I
praise God for this site. I am now searching for
understanding about
Isaiah
6. Thank you in advance for
your anticipated response. Loretta
Dear Loretta in chapter 6 Isaiah
was one of many who saw God bodily - In this case in Kingly
robes. Isaiah became convicted over who he was not
what he had done and he quickly answered the call of
God.
