.. What does the Bible say
about secular
music? Was the music played at
weddings, etc. religious in nature?

Dear Terry, Religious music gives Glory, Praise and
Worship to God,.... Secular music is concerned with worldly
affairs rather than spiritual ones.... Satanic music is
composed of songs about Sexual Uncleaness, Rebellion,
Lustful suggestions, self-gratification, Adultery,
Fornication, Murder, Suicide, Homosexuality, Idolatry,
Disobedience to parents, disrespect for authority,
Witchcraft, Drugs, the Pride of Life, covetousness.
extortion and reviling people or things.
Music is a very
powerful force for good or evil..... Lucifer was the Choir
Director in Heaven before he fell and took one third of the
Angels with him. He still has a great talent in music and
seeks to control and dominate the entire music field with
his pornographic, rebelious, and evil musical compositions.
... His crowning achievment is MTV which has poluted the
young people of the entire world except for a few nations
which will not allow MTV to be shown. He has also tried to
polute Country Music and all the other forms of music. Few
will deny that his music is extremely well composed ,
orchestrated and performed. This year the MTV Awards are
going to approach the Oscars in presentation and coverage.
Fallen mankind loves the music of darkness rather than the
Glorious music of God's Light and generally will not come to
the light of God because their evil deeds will be exposed.

Shalom! I have a question about Jesus ministry. Why is it
that in Mark
16:15 used the word "to the
whole creation" as the scope of his ministry. And Matthew
and Luke did not mention to the whole creation, but just
Judea, Samaria, and world. I hope you can help me to figure
it out. Thanks, God bless us all. In Christ, (from the
Philippines)
Dear Roderick, In Mark the word is
Kosmos or social system. Mark wrote about AD 65 and received
his facts from Peter....... Matthew was one of the twelve
Apostles and wrote about AD 37 .....Dr. Luke, the only
Gentile writer of the books of the Bible wrote about 63 AD.
Luke was not an eye - witness but used others that were as
his source. These three Gospels are known as the Synoptic
Gospels because they present a similar view point..... hope
this helps

I need some information on the
Maccabees.We
are doing a study in Luke.
Dear Sherry, ... The Maccabees
refers to Judas, (the Hammer), son of Mattathias and those
who followed him. They are also called the Hasmoneans. They
ruled in Judea for 100 years after they conquered Jerusalem
and re-dedicated the Temple in 165 B.C. This is the origin
of the Feast of Dedication where Jesus spoke on December
25th A.D.28...see John 10:22. This Feast is also called the
Feast of Lights or Hanukkah and is celebrated around
December 25th

... Do you have a Bible
study on Micah
3:9-12 and Micah 6:6-8, or do
you know where I can find one if you do not? I am going to
teach an adult sunday school class on this scripture and
anything you give give me on this, would be very helpful and
greatly appreciated.
Dear Patty, Chapter3 vs 9-12 listed
the sins of the Religious leaders, the Ministers and the
Prophets. 1.. the Religious leaders ruled only for reward.
2..The Ministers were hirelings. 3..The Prophets worked only
for money. While all three classes were to be supported,
they were to judge for the sake of justice, teach without a
fee for everything they taught, and prophesy without
charging for every prediction or counsel offered from God.
The three predictions in verse 12 have been
fulfilled.
Chapter 6 verse 6-8, lists six
things the Lord does not require in coming before Him
and being accepted of Him. Also listed are three things that
God does require of man. This has been made into a
beautiful song which is a favorite of mine.... hope this
helps

... Just because two people
get married in the church whether they are saved or not
saved whether evenly yoked or not does that mean God honors
that marriage? What marriages does God honor? I need
scriptural proof. Thanks.

SEE THE BIBLE STUDY ON MARRIAGE
Marriage
is the act or event of the
union of a man and a woman as husband and wife, (whether
Christian or non-Christian) normally in a Church or in the
presence of witnesses. God (not man) joins the marriage
partners. Matthew
19:6
Paul addresses the issue of
Christian believers in I
Corinthians 7:27, 39. In
Christian marriages where the woman leaves she is not to
remarry unless to her husband or unless he dies. Also In the
case of mixed marriages (A Christian and an unbeliever) if
the unbelieving husband or wife leaves or willfully deserts
because of the other partners Christianity, then the other
is not under further marriage bonds and is not required to
remain single. The exception to both these situations is
adultery which is a legal cause for divorce in the eyes of
God. Matthew 5:32a, 19:9a
Do the scriptures address anything like this? A man divorces
his wife. She has only remained faithful to him and the
Lord, but has refused to become involved in his sin of
pornoraphy. He lives in another state, has absolutely no
contact with her. It has now been over 3 years. In the eyes
of the Lord is it a sin for this woman to date or ever marry
again? Please help me to find the answers I need. Thank you.
Dear Deb, Yes, Paul addresses the
issue of Christian believers in I Corinthians 7:27, 39. In
the case of mixed marriages (A Christian and an unbeliever)
if the unbelieving husband or wife leaves or willfully
deserts because of the other partners Christianity, then the
other is not under any further marriage bonds and is not
required to remain single. The exception to both these
situations is adultery which is a legal cause for divorce in
the eyes of God. Matthew 5:32a, 19:9a .... This would also
apply because Jesus said that if a person looks on a woman
(or man) in lust (pornography) they have already committed
adultery in their heart.
My prayer is that God would give
you a godly new husband. Enjoy life ... the Truth has set
you free!
