R
.. Has it ever
been determined exactly where Moses led the
Israelites across the
Red
Sea? Exodus 14:1 says
they camped near Pi Hahiroth, between Middol and
the sea. They were directly across from Baal
Zephon. I am unable to determine the location with
any maps I have in my Bible..Thank you
Dear Sandra, This is the only map I could find
... hope this helps
Can I have a BRIEF
explanation of the two dates of the crossing of the
red sea ? Why is there a diffrence and which do you
believe to be true ?
Reese's Chronological Bible sets the date at
Sunday April 17 1462 B.C.based on Frank Klassen's
studies. There is no absolute proof of this.

Where did the wandering in
the wilderness occur and why was Jericho chosen to
enter the Promised Land?
Dear Mary, ... See the map
on left. The Moabites would not let the Israelites
go through their main route, so they had to go
around and enter at Jericho

R...I WOULD
LIKE TO KNOW IN DETAIL IF GOD'S CHOSEN LEADERS WERE
RIGHTEOUS MEN AND IF THEY WERE NOT, WHY DID GOD CHOOSE THEM.
ABRAHAM, NOAH, AND MOSES.
Dear Audrey, ...All our own
righteousness is as filthy rags in the sight of God but we
can be made
righteous
in His sight by putting our faith or trust in Him
followed by our good works which is what these three men
did... Discard any demonic teaching that says you can do
whatever you please after you have put your faith in God ...
read Ezekiel 33:12-20 and James 2:20-26
R .... I
use the NIV Bible version and wanted to know if there is a
web site or information on getting complete breakdown
meaning of specific verses. I need
Revelation
1:7. Thank You.
Dear Monica, The meaning is : All eyes in the immediate
vicinity of Jerusalem will see Jesus land. The descendents
of those Jews who caused Him to be pierced will see Him. The
armies of the nations surrounding Jerusalem will see Him
.... hope this helps
.... Thank you very much for the
help.
R
... When the trumpet
sounds, Jesus Christ will come in His glory descending from
heaven and His saints will ascend and be caught up with Him
in the heavens above. My question is that, Is there any hope
for those that did not make the
rapture
to still make heaven. ?
Dear Ann, Yes, God's door of mercy
to Jews and Gentiles will remain open. The first martyrs of
the Tribulation will be killed by the Great Whore who rules
over the 10 Kings of the Revived Roman Empire or European
Union between the Rapture and the Fifth Seal. Also the Great
Tribulation saints, a great multitude of martyrs from all
nations (Rev 15:2 ). They are beheaded because of - 1. their
witness of Jesus - 2. for the Word of God - 3. for not
worshipping the beast - 4. for not worshipping his image -
5. for not taking his mark upon their foreheads - 6. for not
taking his mark in their hands. .... hope this helps
R
.... Some individuals in my
church believe that in the end, when God calls his people
home, the saved will live in heaven. However, they don't
necessarily believe that there will be no more sin. They say
there will not be death or sickness, etc., but they say the
devil was in heaven and God kicked him out. They say there
may be those in heaven in the end, who choose to sin against
God and will be kicked out. This, to me, seems like an
endless cycle of what we live right now. Some believe and
some don't. Some live a christian life for many years and
then something happens and they turn to sin. This happening
in heaven seems very wrong to me in that the book of
Revelation
indicates that no sin will
enter into heaven and I believe the bible also indicates
that we will be changed and made like Jesus. What are your
thoughts on this?
Dear Tammy, These people have
confused the Millenniel
reign of Jesus with the
Final 2 chapters of the Bible which describe the New Heavens
and the New Earth.( Rev 21:2) - Verse 27 says there will be
NO MORE SIN THERE
! - Just before this happens,
(during the Millennial
reign of Jesus), Satan is
bound for a 1000 years, yet mankind still will rebel and
some will be saved but many will be lost. Jesus said that He
saw Satan cast out of Heaven (long before the Fall of Adam)
see Matthew 12:26 and Mark 3:23 .... Many in the Early
Church who repented and were baptized supposed they were
secure in their salvation and nothing they did could cut
them off from Christ. Paul made the plain statement in 1
Cor. 9:27 that he kept his body under subjection lest after
having preached to others he himself became a castaway
(Greek adokimos or reprobate) One of my favorite Bible
passages is Ezekiel 33:10-19 where the Lord repeats SEVEN
times the fact that when a righteous person turns back, none
of his righteousness will be remembered. The people
complained that God was not fair in verse 20...........
Thanks so much! ... Office of

R
... I have been studying
Revelation
with the help of John Wesley's
Explanatory notes (off the internet). Chapter 7 mentions the
great multitude who ascended to heaven after the great
tribulation. In Chapter 12 it talks about the devil coming
down to earth. I thought the devil was already here. What am
I missing?
Dear Tracy, The Devil operates in
the atmosphere above the Earth, and is called "the Prince of
the power of the air". In Revelation 12:7-12 Michael and the
army of good angels defeat Satan and his army of fallen
angels and cast them from the air down to Earth and confine
them there. Woe to the inhabitants of Earth and the seven
Seas at this time because Satan has come down with great
wrath. He knows he has only a short time before he is
consigned to Hell forever... hope this helps

.... What is 'the' or 'a' -
Rose of
Sharon? As related in the book
'Song of Solomon'.Thank You
Dear
Christine, The Professor of Biblical Botany, University of

Sharonensis) found growing abundantly around
Sharon.
R
.... I need information
regarding
Ruth
and her time period. What was happening, where was her land
located, etc. I would appreciate any information, book
titles, etc. thank you
|
Dear Deb, ... Ruth is read
at the Feast of Weeks. Tradition has Samuel as the
author. The approximate date is 1100 B.C. A famine
in Judah had driven Elimelech and his family to
Moab as sojourners. This Bible book illustrates the
Law of kinsman redemption, Leviticus 25:25, ....
recording the story of a Gentile woman who became
the great-grandmother of King David in the direct
lineage of Jesus the Messiah. Ruth also records the
Genealogy of David from Pharez to to David in
Chapter 4 verse 18. The city of Bethlehem - Judah
is introduced which lies on the road to Hebron six
miles south of Jerusalem. The Prophet Micah, (Micah
5:2) long after David's death, revealed that the
Messiah was to come from Bethlehem.

R ... Where is it in the
Old Testament: When the priest went before God in regard to
the people's sin - if the priest was in sin -he died. Can
you tell me where this is in the Bible? Thank
you.
Dear Loretta, As yet, we have not
located the original source, but apparently it originated
long after the last Jewish Temple was gone. The biblical and
historical evidence indicates that there was
no rope to pull the
dead body out, at least not in
any common use.
Dr. W.E. Nunnally, a professor of
Hebrew and early Judaism, has reported: "The rope on the
high priest legend is just that: a legend. It has obscure
beginnings in the Middle Ages and keeps getting repeated. It
cannot be found anywhere in the Bible, the Apocrypha, the
Dead Sea Scrolls, Josephus, the Pseudepigrapha, the Talmud,
Mishna, or any other Jewish source. It just is not
there."
The Biblical Studies Foundation
(loosely associated with Dallas Theological Seminary),
similarly reports that their research has put the "the rope
around the ankle-or-waist-or-maybe-the-leg" legend "to
rest." They also point out that Aaron was to wear a blue
ephod with bells on its hem (Exodus 28:31-35), when he
entered the Holy Place (not the Holy of Holies) (Leviticus
16:2-4). When he enters the Holy of Holies, he washes and
wears special linen garments, not the ephod with bells. "If
there are no bells to jingle, there is no need for the rope
either."
