T.. Please send me the Ten Commandments in Hebrew and the transliteration and its translation?

Dear Seon, By far the most ancient, authentic and accurate translation can be found at www.wcie.net/bible.studies.htm/613.htm....We can order a Hebrew - Greek Interlinear for you at www.wcie.net/bible.studies.htm.....hope this helps

T ..... Hi. I am studying the destruction of Solomon's Temple and I have a history question about why didn't the Temple ever get rebuilt. I understand that the returners from the Babylonian exile did not rebuild the temple. Why was it not rebuilt after that, and why don't the Jews rebuild it today? I also understand that there is a rock in the way. What is that rock? Thank you for your time.

Dear Katie, The Temple WAS rebuilt twice, first by the exiles (rather poorly) and later by King Herod (rather beautifully) See Solomon's Temple and Temple Rebuilt and Herod's Temple all at www.wcie.net/bible.studies.htm. ... Here is a photo of the rock. ..... If they tried to remove this Muslim "Dome of the Rock" on the Temple Mount, World War 3 might break out.

Thank you sooo much!

T ... I would like a picture of the Temple or Tabernacle as if you were viewing it from the top. Would like to see the placement of the furniture in more detail. Can you send me such a picture? Thank you....In Christ..

Dear Katy, ...

THE HOLY PLACE ..... is a room with no natural light. It contains three Supernatural Mysteries whose meaning is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. These mysteries symbolize three spiritual provisions available to any one who has been to the ALTAR and to the LAVER. The seven - branched Lampstand Ex 25: 31 - 40 represents Supernatural Guidance from the Holy Spirit. The Table of Bread Ex 25: 23 - 30 or Bread of Life gives us Supernatural strength to carry out God's will, The Altar of Incense Ex 27: 1 - 8 represents Supernatural Prayer or praying in the Holy Spirit.

It must be remembered that the majority of the Israelites were illiterate: Writing was the area of expertise for a class called Scribes. Further, the full meaning of the Tabernacle requires the New Testament for its interpretation. This is because the types of the Tabernacle were only fulfilled in the life and ministry of Jesus.
The entire Tabernacle was based on the realization that the people were sinners, and needed an atonement for their sins. When God looked down on the Ten Commandments, the physical stones were intact, but their teachings had been broken over and over again by the people. This fact must be hidden from the view of God. On the Annual great Day of Atonement, the high priest went alone into the Holy of Holies, carrying in a basin the blood of a sacrificial bullock, which the priest splattered onto the Lid of the Ark. Now, God sees the blood, but not the broken law inside the Ark.

This is the meaning John the Baptist cried out to the people at the Jordan River, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." On the Cross, the sacrificial Blood of Jesus was shed making an Atonement for the sins of believers in all time and all places. The symbolism of the Tabernacle was fulfilled at Calvary when Jesus cried, "It is finished"

THE HOLY OF HOLIES .... The centerpiece of the Tabernacle was the Ark of the Covenant, Ex 25: 8 - 22 a small gold plated wooden box, approximately four feet long, and two feet high and two feet wide, with a lid mde of solid gold. Inside of this box were the Ten Commandments engraved on two stones--the second set which was given to Moses. Ex 34: 1 - 27 On each end of the lid of the box was a carved wooden cherubim, gold-plated. The cherubim faced each other forming an empty triangular space above the Ark. Inside this triangle was the space in which God was understood to dwell. Despite all this material representation of the truth, Moses and the Jewish spiritual leaders knew that God was a Spirit, and not to be represented in any material form ... Ward R. Williams Ph. D. T .... Would you happen to have an outline and sketch drawing of the Tabernacle and its components? If so, would you mind sending me the needed information. Thank you very much. God bless.

Dear Michael, Here is the sketch of the Tabernacle. ( the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies )... The Tabernacle Outer Court ( fence or screen ) measured 104 feet by 208 feet by 10 1/2 feet high. Just inside the entrance to the Outer Court was the Brazen altar, after that, the Laver.... More details at www.wcie.net/bible.studies.htm/sg18.htm

What were the dimensions of the veil covering the entrance to the Holy of Holies in Herod's Temple?

Dear David, The entrance was 10 cubits by 10 cubits so the curtain was 15 feet high and 15 feet high.

T .. Hi i don't know if you'll have this info. but do you know anything about the destruction of the temple by the romans?

Dear Lisa, Beginning April, A.D.70, Forty Years to the Week from the Crucifixion of Christ. The temple was burnt August 10, A. D. 70, the exact same day and month on which it had been burnt by the king of Babylon: Josephus, Ant. b. xx. c. 11. s. 8.

In 66 A.D. the Jews rebelled against Roman rule. In 70 A.D., after a 143 day siege which began at Passover, a Roman military force consisting of about 30,000 troops under the command of Titus battered the walls and entered the city. They destroyed everything, including Herod's Temple - exactly as spoken by Jesus the Messiah 40 years earlier. The population and the great number of Passover visitors who had been trapped there were brutally slaughtered, with an estimated 600,000 people killed.

The Roman army then moved over to Caesarea on the coast of The Mediterranean Sea where a great many more were killed. Over 90,000 were taken captive, including the historian Flavius Josephus who recorded the events in his Wars of The Jews. All that remained was the defiant little garrison atop Masada.

The Western (Wailing) Wall is all that remains of the Jerusalem Temple where Jesus ministered. This wall formed part of the Plaza within the Temple area. King Herod's incredible remodeling project began in 20 B.C. and continued long after his death. It was finally completed only seven years before the Romans came and destroyed the Temple in 70 AD.

T ... I learned that Jesus at some point walked through the desert for 40 days, was tempted by the devil and so forth. Do I remember this right? and where in the Bible can I find it. I used a german bible, too. is it different from the american version. Thanks

Dear Alexandra. This can be found in the Synoptic Gospels, Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13 and Luke 4:1-13. The German Bible should be the same .....hope this helps

T .... How can Jesus sit at the right hand of God if he is God? and how can God send us the gift of the Holy Ghost if he is the Holy Ghost too? Who did Jesus talk to when he said Father Forgive Them when he was on the cross?

Dear Lynne, This is the Trinity - Three in one - UNITED IN PURPOSE. Jesus was talking to God the Father. In history Rome was at times ruled by a Triumvirate where three rulers ruled as one. This is the best comparison I know of. To many this is a mystery but I don't have that much difficulty understanding the Trinity ... hope this helps,

T ...where do we get that our tithes due unto God are to be ten percent of our income?

Dear Joe, The one / tenth as found in Heb 7:2 , Gen 28:22 and Lev 27:32 ... The purpose of the tithe is to support God's Ministers and the Work of God in general. Tithing was practiced by Abraham long before the law of Moses was given to the Jews. While keeping the ceremonial law as a means of obtaining righteousness was done away with by the blood of Jesus, God's perfect sacrificial Lamb, many excellent guidelines for living, including the tithe remain. In Malachi 3:10 Gods says "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith saith the Lord of Host, if I will not open the windows of Heaven and pour out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it". The law of the tithe works for believers and unbelievers. The tithe belongs to the Lord not to us - see Leviticus 27:30,32 . To sum up tithing is an excellent way to support the work of God. Showing up at the house of God and not paying God's tithe is the same as robbing God or despising God to me. .See " The Blessing of God".. hope this helps,

T ... Can you please tell me where in the Bible it makes refences to tatoos and or body piercings? I've been told its a sin but no one can tell me exactly where it says that
