Band Azuza was formed in 2003. Our music is a Messianic "crossover" style that combines the rich roots of Messianic music with contemporary, rock, jazz, and blues to create a unique sound for praise and worship. The name Azuza has a two-fold meaning for us. The Hebrew word "azuz" means "bold, powerful". We feel that the music the Lord has given us is bold and powerful. In addition, the Lord powerfully poured out His Holy Spirit on a small group of people on Azuza Street in Los Angeles in 1906. We believe that He is once again pouring out His Spirit upon His people! We believe that we were created to praise and worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is for that reason that Azuza exists. We also believe that praising the Mighty One of Israel with heartfelt tunes is good for the soul. We pray that you will experience this joy when you listen to the music that the Lord has brought through us!

encourage His people, so that they will live in righteous

that are from God without any delay or neglects! To reject or to neglect and
showing no ears for His
messengers will respond in
disobeying God and will bring a more severe judgment upon you!

His Glory
can reside! When worshippers, intercessors, and
prayer warriors meet in one accord to unashamedly abandon their all
in full pursuit of
God’s Presence,
the Covering that
arises will be simply astounding:

sounds of music
that we produce
for God!
The sounds that we produce on our “drums; cymbals; percussions; Shofars, etc”- sets is an extension of our musical voice! By using these kinds of instruments, we need to have also
the approval & anointing from God! It is through the talents, gifts and
anointing
that we can bring an
anointed Heavenly sound! It have to come
from above! We will use these instruments only for the sounds of music for God!
Because music was originally created as a powerful spiritual force to
worship the Father around His Divine Throne and have the power to move men's
hearts. Good music belongs to God only! Depending on our personal motivation
to make music, it can be well-pleasing to God, or
evil or self idol worship!
