Larry Murphy is a teacher, pastor and missionary who trains world leaders in the area of globalization, the multi-ethnic explosion and Islam in America. He is Armenian born and raised in San Francisco and lived in the Middle Eastern neighborhoods in America, Europe & the Middle East. In 1983 he was in Beirut during the bombing of the embassy and marine barracks and during the kidnapping period. He comes from a background of urban culture and drugs. He has ministered with Teen challenge, Inter-Varsity, Youth for Christ, Prison fellowship and many national ethnic churches. Before the development of the religion of Islam in the seventh century the vast Arab population, and much of Africa and Asia, was essentially neutral toward passive Judaism and Christianity, But the The Koran removed Israel from its theological position as the Chosen Nation, and replaced it with the Arab peoples, the descendants of Ishmael. A major annual feast of Islam, called ISHMAEL, celebrates the willingness of Abraham to offer Ishmael (not Isaac). Thus, according to Islam, Ishmael (and the Arabs) displace Isaac (and the Jews) as the Promised Seed. The Koran also considers Jesus to be a prophet, but denies the deity of Jesus and rejects the substitutionary death of Jesus on the Cross, as well as the validity of His resurrection and claims that Jesus did not actually die on the Cross, but rather only "swooned," or fell unconscious, and later recovered and pretended to have risen from the dead.
Syria,
home of the Capital of Islam, is not listed in the Battle of Gog
and Magog. This may be because they have already, (by the time of
the Magog Invasion,) been dealt a blow. As described in: Isaiah
chapter 17, Jeremiah 49:23-27, and Amos 1. "The burden of
Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it
shall be a ruinous heap.... And behold at eveningtide trouble; and

continuously inhabited city on the face of the earth is the
Capital of the Islamic World, and has never yet been "taken away
from being a city" . Many terrorist organizations have their bases
within Damascus. The Bible declares that Damascus will become a
ruinous heap.
