Larry
S. Mitchell is the Founder and the Executive Director of
New Life Outreach Ministry, Inc. in Lakeland, Florida He
is a graduate of Florida A&M and Southern
University.
New
Life Outreach Ministry, Inc. is designed to assist men
who are experiencing difficulties in their lives with
alcohol and/or substance abuse (or any other life
controlling issue). The success rate of this program is
better than 80% for men who complete the
program.
New
Life Outreach Ministry, Inc. is a residential (6 to 12
month) live-in regeneration program divided in to 2
phases.Phase I is our Orientation Period. During this
time the student is introduced to the program and what
this program has to offer. It gives each student an
opportunity to get a clear perspective of life and to
also begin making plans for a future. It gives them a
start at regeneration and we look for signs that each
student is ready to accept the responsibility, and to let
God change their life.
Phase
II is Intensive Discipleship. During this time each
student spends a lot of time in Bible Classes, taking
notes, listening carefully, and staying in compliance
with the program. They are assigned homework. Each man is
expected to set up a budget and learn to handle all of
his financial responsibilities.
