I am Pastor Cyril Craill, Maranata Assembly, Uitenhage, South Africa. My wife's is Lindie and our two children are Elandrè, 5 years, and Timothy, 6 month's old.
We have approximately 120 members, we are in a poor area, therefore our income is not very much. We rely on God to supply our needs.
We have a Church hall We don't have prayer rooms and sunday school classrooms. We are adding to our building two prayer rooms and moving the baptismal pool from the stage to in between the two prayer rooms, building an entrance and sunday school classrooms that we need very much. Our plan is to build the church later when this place is too small, The building itself needs attention.
Yours truly
Pastor C. Craill

After the British seized the Cape of Good Hope area in 1806, many of the Dutch settlers (the Boers) trekked north to found their own republics. The discovery of diamonds (1867) and gold (1886) spurred wealth and immigration and intensified the subjugation of the native inhabitants. The Boers were defeated in the Boer War (1899-1902). The resulting Union of South Africa operated under a policy of apartheid - the separate development of the races. The 1990s brought an end to apartheid politically and ushered in black majority rule.
