Healing a Leper
{4:23} And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their
synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing
all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the
people.8:1 When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes
followed him. {2} And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped
him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean. {3} And
Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be
clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. {4} And Jesus
said to him, See that you tell no man; but go your way, show
yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded,

he was cleansed. {43} And he straitly charged him, and forthwith
sent him away; {44} And said to him, See that you say nothing to
any man: but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer
for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a
testimony to them. {45} But he went out, and began to publish it
much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no
more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places:
