71 .............................The Sermon On The Mount continued

{1} Judge not, that you be not judged. {2} For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete out, it shall be measured to you again. {3} And why do you behold the mote that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye? {4} Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the mote out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye? {5} You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother's eye.{6} ... Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast you your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and tear you.{7} Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: {8} For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. {9} Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? {10} Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? {11} If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:1-11

The Golden Rule

12} Therefore all things whatever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the Law and the Prophets. vs 12

[11:9] And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. [10] For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. [11] If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? [12] Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? [13] If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Luke 11:9-13

{6:37} Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven: {38} Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete out with it shall be measured to you again. {39} And he spoke a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? {40} The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. {41} And why do you behold the mote that is in your brother's eye, but perceive not the beam that is in your own eye? {42} Either how can you say to your brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in your eye, when you yourself behold not the beam that is in your eye? You hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of your own eye, and then shall you see clearly to pull out the mote that is in your brother's eye. Luke 6:37-42
