MUSIC NEWS... What started as a local youth ministry outreach eventually led to packed soccer stadiums... In the past five years the music of Delirious has redefined the context of modern worship for youth in England. Now that their songs are impacting youth across America the members of Delirious offer their thoughts and insights on the importance of worship in the Christian life.
Since 1980, Bill Wilson and Metro Ministries have pioneered the human wasteland of forgotten inner-cities. Their mission is to find and rescue the children left behind in this battleground of drugs, violence and abuse. This was a struggle that could only be won with the power of God. With enormous faith and persistence, Bill began Sunday Schools and the Won-By-One Children's Sponsorship Program, a unique way to partner Christians with an inner city child. ![]() P.O. This year had been a fruitful year here. I was able to baptise 15 people in UK along with my collegue in the Lord, There are few more who are going through baptism classes getting ready to be baptised in Decemeber. Some of the Photos are attached, Thomas Varghise ..... tvarghise@hotmail.com

When the Angles and Saxons invaded Roman Britannia in the 5 BC, they called it, among other names Brittani and Bretenland and some of their kings were given the title Bretwalda, echoing the Latin Dux Britanniarum Leader of the Britains. In old English - which sounded like modern German - the island was called Bryten ('brighten'), originating from the West Germanic Brituna, from which the word Briton comes.
St. Pauls Cathedral in one shape or another has stood in London for more than 1,400 years. The current Cathedral located on Fleet Street is spectacular. Here are a few of the accomplishments:Largest Protestant Cathedral in the World, The original cathedral was built by Bishop Mellitus in 604 AD. The Great Fire of London in 1666 reduced the cathedral to a burnt ruin. Sir Christopher Wren, masterpiece plan's for reconstruction were accepted in 1675
Second largest dome in the world, at 360 feet, after St. Peters in Rome
Stands on top of Ludgate Hill --- one of two hills where London was founded
Sets in the center of the London financial district
The Whisper Gallery is capable of sending the slightest whisper to the other side
