Ministering
around the world... a group of people that speak the
same language, working toward the same vision,
empowering individuals, training, developing projects,
carrying out God's will.
Discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1498, and named
Venezuela (Little Venice), by Amerigo Vespucci in 1499,
it remained a Spanish colony until 1811, then ruled by a
series of dictators until establishing its own
constitution in 1961 ... The Orinoco River system and
it's many tributaries practically cover the central and
southern parts. Most of this oil-rich country's
population lives along its northern coast.
Tourism remains a developing
industry, and most visitors are drawn to the Caribbean
coastline beaches, the southern Amazon rain forest, Isla
de Margarita and the high peaks of the northern Andes
Mountains.(Cordillera de MÈrida)
