MEDIA INFORMATIONTo view media information for a clip: Select the clip . Click on the triangle in the Media Information button in the Bin window.Information displayed includes movie type, duration, dimensions, compressions, and track types.
To add clips to a movie: Click and drag the clip from the Bin window onto the video track in the Project window.the video is placed in the video track, and the audio is placed in the sound track. The first frame of the clip appears in the Canvas window.. Click in the Canvas window to make it the active window. Click the Play button in the Canvas window the clip, plays from beginning to end.
Click and drag the next clip from the Bin onto the video track in the Project window. In the Canvas window, drag the Time Shuttle slider all the way to the left.to return the Time Shuttle slider back to the first frame of the movie.- or -From the Play menu, select the GO TO command, then select BEGINNING
USING THE CLIP WINDOW
Before adding clips to your movie, the clips can be opened in the Clip window to preview the entire clip, or trim frames from the beginning or end.. Double-click on the clip in the Bin window. You can trim frames from either side of the clip using the In and Out handles. The In readout displays the location of the In handle with respect to the first frame of the clip. The Duration readout displays the length of the clip. Use the Out handle to trim frames from the end of the clip - Grab the Out handle and slide it to the left until the Duration readout displays approximately 00:00:12:12. The value 00:00:12:12 represents 00 hours: 00 min-utes: 12 seconds: and 12 frames.As you trim the clip, the last frame is shown in the Clip window.
